A tiller is a machine designed for loosening and moving soil, crushing clods after ploughing meadows and pastures, and undercutting weeds. The tiller can be used to mix mineral fertilisers into the soil in agricultural fields and vegetable crops. The main component of the machine is a working shaft with knife discs, to which the right and left curved knives are bolted. Depending on the working
width, the drum is equipped with a different number of cutting discs, ranging from 5 to 14.
The machine is suspended from the tractor’s three-point linkage. The working depth of the tiller is adjusted in steps by two skids located on the sides of the machine. The main gearbox is driven by an articulated telescopic shaft being driven by the tractor’s PTO shaft. The maximum PTO speed allowed is approximately 540 rpm. General data * The standard machine is equipped without a tillage roller.
